A resource centre

Our School is fortunate to have a wonderful resource centre  –  the library.

Once a week the children take part in library lessons with their own grade.

Reading, listening and research skills are developed during library sessions, integrating it with classroom themes – making the library and resource centre an extension of their classroom. Not only do we foster the development of information skills, we encourage a love of reading and literature.

During these library sessions children will have the opportunity to borrow and return books. A library bag is required for the children to be able to borrow books.

Access to a range of resources and services is fundamental to learning which is why library and research skills are integrated with computer studies and other information technology work, utilising computers as a tool rather than a toy.

Students are required to sign a Student Computer Use Code of Conduct form to ensure that computers are used in a safe and responsible way.
